It was the second Wednesday of January, and an absolutely packed Bier Baron Tavern and DC Comedy Loft played host to the first Perfect Liars Club of the new year. The government shutdown, the frosty temperatures, and the post-holiday doldrums did little to dampen the spirits of the rowdy, sold-out crowd. Electricity was in the air. It was as if everyone in attendance knew that we all were in for a very special night.
It was a festive, early-December Wednesday at Dupont Circle's Bier Baron Tavern and DC Comedy Loft. An unexpected dusting of snow, an appearance from Santa Claus, and the warm company of friends and family had everyone's spirits running high for the final Perfect Liars Club of 2018.
Post-election hangovers and autumn's bitter chill did little to prevent scads of DC's best and brightest from descending upon Dupont Circle's legendary Bier Baron Tavern and DC Comedy Loft for the November installment of Perfect Liars Club. Awaiting the capacity crowd was a cadre of four fabulous tale tellers -- one show veteran and three first-timers -- each offering up incredulous tales of travel, trial, and best-laid plans that went very much awry.

It was a balmy, early-autumn Wednesday in Washington, DC and The Bier Baron Tavern & DC Comedy Loft was once again buzzing with excitement. Perfect Liars Club was in session, and a crowd teeming with first-timers had come to try their hand at distinguishing fact from fiction.
